Why Sustainability leadership initiative?
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the most successful of organizations to change their ways of working. Therefore, integrating sustainability in a way that braves the most unpredictable of situations is becoming more and more inevitable. Our modules hope to prepare aspiring leaders to think ahead and place sustainability at the core of their strategic goals. Thereby, build business entities that encourage both innovation and social responsibility.
Under the umbrella of Sustainability leadership initiative by NAI we have designed a leadership program focusing on sustainability for students and young professionals.
Our Sustainability Leadership Program acts as an enabler for students and young professionals develop into leaders who prioritize listening, responsivity, respect, and equality in their research and collaborations with government, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), private-sector organizations, and communities.
The program is designed to develop essential skills in multidisciplinary, cross-sector, and community collaboration across the Asian and the Nordic/European ecosystem.

Milestone:
- Credential of Readiness (CORe) Certificate.
- Forward into the "Sustainability Scholars Program"
Sustainability Scholar's Program
Top candidates based on their performance in the Sustainability Leadership COR'E program will be selected.
The selected candidates will have access to the following -
- Set of 5 masterclasses taught by industry leaders
- Sustainable Business Design
- Management / Impact Consulting
- Policy consulting
- Technology / Innovation Management
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Networking Sessions
- Mentoring Sessions
Milestone:
- Certificate of Completion
- Letter of Recommendation (Graduate school / Employment Opportunities)
Sustainability Fellowship Program
- Individual is expected to take ownership of a problem encountered locally.
The program participants will be provided with technical tools/resources along with 1-1 mentorship by our advisors in the NAI network.
The problem statement bought forward by the program participants will be discussed by the mentor and then finalized.
In order to be eligible for the certification the participant is expected to present their work highlighting research methodology/core concept/social impact and submit formal document in a case study format.
